Chocolate Chip Cookies Seriously, who's to resist chocolate chip cookies..lolxx..tweaked a little part of the recipe found in the book by Hilaire Walden, Cookies-Irresistible biscuits, brownies and bars, as the cookies made from the original recipe was too soft Ingredients 115g butter 40g light muscovado sugar 80g caster sugar 1 egg 1tsp vanilla essence 150g self raising flour 75g porridge oats 150g chocolate chips Method -Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. - Cream the butter with the sugars in a bowl until pale and fluffy. - Add in the egg as well as vanilla essence. - Sift the flour over the mixture and fold in lightly with a metal spoon - Add in the oats and chocolate chips, and stir until evenly mixed. - Place small spoonfuls of the mixture onto greased baking trays, leaving space for spreading. -Bake cookies for 15-20 minutes, until it begins to turn golden brown. happy baking..=) ![]() |
